Had a belting couple of days playing golf with some pals at @thecelticmanor Wales. Highly recommend staying in one of their Hunter Lodges – amazing for groups, log fire in the lounge, outdoor jacuzzi and all the bedrooms are en-suite. Fantastic staff, especially the boys and girls at the golf clubs.
We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our family stay in the Hunter Lodges. With six children – some grown-up, some still growing – it’s fantastic to find a space where we can all kick back and relax in such beautiful surroundings. The guys have played golf, the girls have relaxed in the spa, and we’ve all enjoyed the activities and some amazing meals in the resort’s restaurants. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Exceptional visit! We stayed in the Hunter Lodges which were out of this world. Everywhere was immaculate and clean. Food in all restaurants was wonderful. We had a truly wonderful time and can’t recommend Celtic Manor enough. The views are insane and I feel so lucky we finally got to visit this beautiful resort.
My sister lives in Wales and has always raved about Celtic Manor; now that I’m here with family, I agree. It’s like a second home. Beautiful setting with breathtaking views. The lodge has a fantastic kitchen, an open floor plan, and lovely, spotless bedrooms. The hot tub is an excellent addition to the lodges. There is a lot to do at the hotel resort. I highly recommend this establishment.
Huge and luxuriously modern, the self-catering Hunter Lodges at this enormous Welsh resort are more like mansions. Set in more than 2,000 acres of parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley, it’s green, green grass as far as the eye can see. The lodges are of a seriously high spec, with four stylish double en-suite bedrooms (and a further den that sleeps two), five-star-feel bathrooms with Elemis smellies, a fully equipped kitchen and cloud-like sofas. If you luck out weather-wise, there’s a huge outdoor seating area with enormous private hot tub, from which you can watch the pheasants and bunnies hopping past.
We enjoyed a second excellent trip with a great feeling of luxury. A hot tub with a wonderful view is an absolute highlight. The rooms are spacious and each having their own en suite is great. There is an excellent communal space. We loved it!
An Oasis of Calm. I would highly recommend staying at The Farmhouse for groups, it is well equipped, the beds and linen are hotel standard and so peaceful. The drivers are really good at picking you up for the short journey to the main hotel.
Great stay in the Hunter Lodges. Fantastic short break at Celtic Manor. The Hunters Lodges are gorgeous and the whole resort along with activities are perfect for families.
The Barn was so clean, well presented and lots of space for everyone with a lovely view over the golf course.
Amazing service from all the staff at Celtic Manor. The experience at the 2010 golf course was something very special followed up by a great stay in one of the Hunters Lodges. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful. Our group will be visiting again.
Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed their stay and were all impressed with the Lodge facilities. Particularly, the new hot tub, which provided a great activity despite the weather being changeable at times. The position of the Lodges and indeed the views over the 2010 golf course are exceptional. The whole environment helped to create such a memorable birthday, one that my father will truly cherish An experience to recommend if you are wanting a completely relaxing stay with friends or family
